Terms of Service

Entropy0 provides a domain intelligence platform that computes Trust, Threat, and Deviation scores for internet domains using publicly observable infrastructure signals (DNS, WHOIS, SSL/TLS, HTTP). Scores are probabilistic and informational — they are not legal, financial, or security verdicts. Final judgment on any domain always remains with the user.

The service is provided via a web interface and a REST API. Feature availability depends on the plan tier in effect on your account at the time of use.

• —You must be at least 18 years old to use Entropy0.
• —You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure.
• —Accounts are for individual or organisational use. Sharing credentials across multiple unaffiliated users to circumvent plan limits is not permitted.
• —You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• —Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.
• —Plan upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
• —You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free Explorer plan.
• —We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
• —Overdue payments may result in suspension of paid features. Accounts suspended for non-payment for more than 60 days may be terminated.

Your use of Entropy0 is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Use of the service for purposes prohibited by the AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

• —API keys are credentials. You must not share them publicly or commit them to source control.
• —API usage counts toward your plan quota. Requests in excess of plan limits will be rejected unless overage billing is enabled on your account.
• —We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend API access that shows patterns of abuse, automated circumvention, or violation of the AUP, regardless of quota availability.

Entropy0 retains all rights in the platform, scoring methodology, and software. The scores and outputs produced by the platform are licensed to you for use within the scope of your plan (internal analysis, automated pipelines, reports). You may not resell raw API outputs or represent Entropy0 scores as your own proprietary signals without a separate agreement.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scores are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Domain infrastructure data is derived from public sources; availability and freshness are not guaranteed.

Entropy0 scores are informational signals. They must not be used as the sole basis for blocking transactions, denying service, making legal determinations, or taking any action that directly harms third parties without independent verification.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Entropy0’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Entropy0 in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

In no event shall Entropy0 be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

• —You may close your account at any time via account settings or by emailing us.
• —We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms or the AUP, for non-payment, or if we determine your use poses a risk to other users or the platform.
• —On termination, your access ceases and your data is scheduled for deletion per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy. Billing records are retained as required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction], and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
